She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Sophie Nance and Frank Attaway; her son Lewis Darrell Stanton, Jr.; her husband Lewis Darrell Stanton; her siblings, Katie Mae Hendricks, John Willis Ferguson (JW) and Richard Lee Ferguson; and her granddaughter Tanganika Stanton.
She is survived by: her family, DC of Washington; her children, Tina M. Stanton-Quick (Kevin), Anthony D. Stanton, Jack Ferguson and Jacqueline Jackson; her grandchildren, Andre Ferguson (Dawn), Raymond Ferguson, Bernard Williams (LeeAnn), Jeffery Day, Sherise Ferguson (Sharon), Yvonne Stanton, Varshae Stanton and Kenneth Johnson; her great grandchildren, Breyana Kelly, Lindale Gordon, Kevin Thomas, Miah Gordon, Lamine Yassi, Taylor Ferguson and Tristan Ferguson; her great great grandchild Alijah Ferguson; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Brown-Edwards, Roland Edwards and Sade Williams.
