He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Wade Palmer of Purcellville; his siblings, Lisa ODonnell (Chris) of Waterford, VA and Lauren Secrist of Inwood, WV.; and his great grandchildren, Gunny, Wade Palmer V of Mount Holly, NJ, Michael ODonnell (Alie) of Jericho, VT, Kate Palmer of Charlotte, NC, Kyle ODonnell of Washington, DC, Annie Palmer, Maddie Secrist of Inwood, WV, Zach Secrist of Harpers Ferry, WV, Emma Palmer of Brunswick, MD and Lilly Palmer of Brunswick, MD..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer Cemetery (20421 Airmont Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (140 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA 20132). A reception was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Faith Chapel (14188 Chapel Ln, Leesburg, VA 20176).
In lieu of flowers, Gunny and the Palmer family request donations to the York County Racing Club which supports injured drivers.
