He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hamilton Rogers and Willa Ashby Rogers; his brothers, Sam Rogers, Jr., Dr. Joe Rogers and Howard Rogers; his son-in-law Ned Overstreet; and his grandson Jack Mann.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Tillett Rogers; his children, Richard A. Rogers, Jr. (Susan), Sally Mann (Roy), Anne Overstreet (Ned) and Thomas Rogers (Stacie); his grandchildren, Louise Sumner, Alex Rogers, Ted Rogers, Elizabeth Scully, Rebecca Mann, Ryan Rogers and Lindsay Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Henry Sumner, George Sumner, John Sumner, Anderson Rogers, Elizabeth Rogers, Lila Mae Rogers, Sutton Rogers, June Rogers and Jackson Scully.
