She was predeceased by: her spouse Douglas C. Whitesell. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Whitesell Jr., Lewis Whitesell and Dianne Gillette (Kirk); her grandchildren, Matt Gillette, Courtney Gillette, Ryan, Emily, Neil and Robert Whitesell; and her great grandchildren, Kendra Mitchell and Madison Gillette. She is also survived by her husband, parents, two brothers and four sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice.
