It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Samuel Gooding (Purcellville, Virginia), born in Oakton, Virginia, who passed away on April 23, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Doris Steele of Fairfax Station, VA.. He is survived by: his daughters, Joan C. Cabaniss, Jean D. Hall-Bally (William) and Jane A. Blair. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
