He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Meany; his children, Christina Alexander (Robert Alexander) of Fairfax, VA, Peter Protopappas (Jessica Protopappas) of Columbus and Stephanie Tatum (Anthony Tatum) of Wilmington, NC; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Matthew, Jack, Maya, Stella, Isaac, George, Peter and Marta Protopappas (Harnischmacher). He is also survived by his friends, children and grandchildren.
