He was predeceased by: his parents, James Norris Hummer and Mabel Catherine Hummer (Longerbeam) of Loudoun County; his siblings, Mason Abraham Hummer and Hazel Zanovia Hummer; and his close friend Bob Decker.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Darlene Wolf Moore (Tom), Dana Atkisson (Kevin) and Elizabeth Hill (Murray); his niece Barbara Hummer; his grandchildren, Eric (Kristin), Ben, Gunnar (Anaiah), Amy (Wesley) and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Maddix, Shiloh and Garrett; his son Paul (Susan); his grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Andreea, Johann, Bonnie and Cliff; and his brother Holly.
