He was predeceased by: his mother India Viola Kent Frye; his wife Mary Sue Frye; and his father Robert Washington Frye, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Frye and Tammy Parker (Jeff); his grandchildren, Luke Monroe, Tyler Monroe, Grace Williams, Olivia Parker and Cameron Parker; his great grandchild Azlyn Monroe; and his siblings, Ray Michael Frye (Carol), Thomas Lee Frye (Patsy), Lily Ann Carter (Daniel) and Betty Louise Page (Frank).
