He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Meckle and Helen Meckle; his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Meckle; his daughters, Lisa Meckle and Lorraine "Lorrie" Roberts; his son-in-law James Roberts; his grandchildren, Samantha Priber (Kyle Priber), James Roberts and Daniel Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella and Giana. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Middleburg Humane Foundation at 5000 Cunningham Farm Dr, Marshall VA 20115, an animal rescue organization that has been very special to Darrell and his family.
