He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Teal; his grandmother Anna Pierce; and his aunt Shirley Jones (Pick). He is survived by: his mother Linda Pierce Orndorff; his sons, Lane Donovan Teal and Evan Jeremiah Teal; the mother of his children Deanna Adkins; his siblings, Sharon Jones Smith (Allen), Jacquelyn Jones Riland, Lisa Jones Horner (Doug), Cheryl Jones Dant (Brian), Richard Jones (Rachael) and Jerry Jones (Debbie); his uncle Carroll; his brothers, Douglas Teal Jr. and Jeff Teal of North Carolina; his cousin Mallory Smith; and his close friend Mike Hayter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
