He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas Marett and Jane Ray Marett; and his siblings, James Douglas Marett, Jr. and Susan Marett. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" Randolph Marett; his children, Hope Greene (Jamie) of Gaffney, Amy Acker (Rusty) of Gaffney, Michael Brown (Shelly) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Faith Pope (Gary) of Spartanburg, SC, Rory Marett (Abby) of Walla Walla, WA, Angela Ruddy (Mike) of Winchester, VA, Aimee Parks (Thomas) of Winchester, VA and Daniel Marett of Purcellville, VA; his grandchildren, Ellis Greene, Warren Greene, Patterson Greene, Avery Acker, Reece Acker, Parker Brown, Landry Brown, Grady Pope, Harry Pope, Wade Butler, Abby Grace Butler, Tre Parks, Audrey Marett and Gavin Marett; and his sister Melanie Cupples (Steve) of Detroit.
