She was predeceased by: her parents, Benton Luther Lindsay and Thelma Drummond Lindsay; and her siblings, Thelma Gray Wright, Barbara Door, Peggy Dillow and Roy Lindsay.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Kay Mitchell of Winchester, VA, Ellen Ptaszynski of Rixeyville, VA, Christy Fleming Ashby (Rob) of Upperville, VA, Carl Kenneth Wright, Jr. (Barbara) of Purcellville, VA and Michael C. Fleming (Melissa) of Bunker Hill, WV; and her sister Lottie Lee Ballinger of Round Hill, VA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Enders and Shirley Funeral Home Chapel (1050 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611).
