He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Habel and Ruth Carter Habel; and his nephew Gary Rinehart. He is survived by: his children, Kyle C. Habel of Silver Springs, MD and Courtenay A. Habel of Onancock, VA; his grandchildren, Jerome Habel of Robert Palmer, Melissa Palmer and Jada Palmer; his great grandchildren, Maniyah Scott, Jayden Habel, Robert Palmer IV, Elijah Palmer, Jerimich Palmer, Nevaeh Palmer and Skyler Howard; his sister-in-law Mary Rinehart (John); his nieces and nephews, Kevin Nelson (Kim) and Diedre Rinehart; his friend Michelle Edwards; and also, Prettlophine, Sara, Linnya, Miyah, Liyah and Malik. He is also survived by four great nieces; and two great nephews.
