It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Denton of Pungoteague, Virginia, born in Roosevelt, New York, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Denton and Catherine Denton; his wife Joan Wright Denton; his son John Arnold Denton, Jr.; and his siblings, Howard Denton (Tuffy), Horace Denton, Albert Denton (Joe) and Ethel Denton.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Michele Denton-Blake (Frank Blake, III) of Pungoteague; and his grandchildren, Amanda Denton-Klotz (Dylan) of Suffolk, VA and Brandon Parks of Pungoteague. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
