She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Bailey and Wavie Kellam Bailey; her husband Reid E. Parker; and her siblings, Etrula Bailey Pinckney, Evelyn Bailey, O'Teal Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jr., Harry Bailey and Roland Bailey Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Reid Parker and Weston Upshur, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Tracey Parker and Karen Boone-Upshur; her siblings, Adalaide Bailey, Jane Bailey and Willie Bailey; her grandchildren, Melissa Parker and Weston Upshur III; her great grandchild Ava Upshur; her granddaughter-in-law Reanna Upshur; her goddaughter Lisa Walker; and her siblings-in-law, Carrie Bailey, Cora Crawley, Victor Parker and Andrew Pinckney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Pungoteague, Virginia where she received her Christian foundation.
