With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Dewey Dowell of Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Spencer Dowell; and his siblings, Jo Ann Dowell Lindsay, Mary Jane Dowell Blankenship and Spencer Dowell. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Blankenship Dowell; his stepson Tony Thornton of Vinton; his sister Mona Marie Dowell of Richlands; and his close friends, Mary Barrett, Mark, Paula Smith, Charlie and Becky Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
