With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Burdell Hays of Pulaski, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 55. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wayne Burdell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Arthur Hays; and his daughter Carrie Marie Hays. He is survived by: his mother Donna Lou Goodwin Hays; his wife Margaret Marie Hays; his stepchildren, Kevin Franklin Snow, Carmen Marlene Snow and Carlos A. Snow; and his brother Rick Hays.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Home (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301).
