He is survived by: his wife Mary Brookman Walker of Pulaski; and his children, Stephen Walker of Pulaski, Vastine H. Walker, Jr. of Dublin and Alice Houchins (Billy) of Christiansburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
