She is survived by: her stepmother Hazel Covey; her children, Kendra Danielle Gabroik Holcomb (Jimmy), Derek William Merica and Jalen Michael Merica; her grandsons, Leo and Finn; and her brothers, Dwight Covey (Deby) and Winfield Covey (Dreama). She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews.
