As Ruhama departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruhama. Though Ruhama may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harold Lamie and Jessie May Vanhoozier Lamie; and her brother Ivan Lane Lamie. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lee Beckner; her daughter Suzanne Beckner Woodyard (Tim); her granddaughter Courtney McLawhorn (Richard); and her siblings, Harold Eugene Lamie, Saltville, Clarence Wayne "Pete" Lamie-Bristol (Mabel), Jerry Thomas Lamie and Leona Carolyn "Tiny" Longenecker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
