He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina McCrosky Vaughan and Oscar Gleason Vaughan; and his sister Valencia Vaughan. He is survived by: his wife Louise Farmer Vaughan; his sons, Dr. Ronald O. Vaughan of Pulaski and Dr. Dennis L. Vaughan of Radford; and his grandchildren, Erik Vaughan (Holly), Brian Vaughan (Erica), Mark Vaughan (Sarah), Courtney Harris (Tighe), Andrew Vaughan and Emily Vaughan. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
