He is survived by: his siblings, James Michael Mitchell (Debby) of Dublin, Harold Paul Mitchell (Karen) of Radford, Ken M. Mitchell (Missie) of Pulaski and Cynthia Osborne (Boyd) of Edinburgh, VA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
