He is survived by: his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Joan Wert; his sister Kathryn Quinn of Pennsylvania; his sister-in-law Francis Hufford of Waynesboro, Virginia; his brother Charles Wert of Red Hill, Pennsylvania.; his son Nelson Miller Wert, Jr. of Pulaski; his sister Dorothy Tomlinson of Allentown, Pennsylvania.; and also Shawn Wert.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Men's Group or to the church's youth group.
