She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Thomas Newton and Ada Elizabeth Kestner; her husband Charles William Richardson; and her siblings, Marg Hall, Shirl Newton, Dick Newton and Jesse Newton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Richardson Keck (Bob Keck), Kaye Richardson Stout (Jeff Stout) and Pulaski; her grandchildren, Joey Hess, Renee Farmer (Nick), Amy Sowers, Allie Keck Jones (Ricky) and Zach Keck (Kenzie); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Sowers, Graham Farmer and Abel Sowers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
