She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Southern and Gertrude Sutphin Clark; her husband Kenneth Albert; the father of her children Joseph Covey; her sister Sally Maddy; and her stepdaughter Vanessa Albert.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Covey (Sherry), Pulaski and Debra Craig (Bobby); her stepsons, Dexter Albert and Kenneth Eugene Albert, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Williams, Brittany Dawson and Aron Hardee; her great grandchild Carter Williams; and her sister Rebecca Southern Graham (Lee).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Max Creek Baptist Church (3000 Old Rte 100 Rd, Draper, VA 24324). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
