He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Gray and Ethel Gray; his children, Hubert Monroe Gray, Linda Sue and Curtis Allen Gray; his granddaughter Kayla Annette Doss; and his siblings, Mary Pearl Wroten, Malcolm Gray, Carl Gray, Russell Gray and William Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Malone Gray; and his sons, Kelby Gray, Jr. (Sharon), Pulaski, Todd Wayne Gray (Pulaski) and Rocky Lee Gray (Pulaski).
