He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Newman and Hazel Newman; and his brother Jack Newman of Pulaski. He is survived by: his wife Jane Brickey Newman of Pulaski; his daughters, Joette McClellan (Rob) of Kingsport, Tenn and Jana Bright (Craig) of Hiltons; his sister Elizabeth Surface (Earl) of Seven Lakes, N. C.; and his sister-in-law Jean Newman of Pulaski. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
