It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Allen of Pulaski, Virginia, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Allen and Arline Hayes Allen; and her granddaughter Megan Blevins. She is survived by: her children, Connie Blevins (Dawes) of Pembroke, Robert Smith, Jr. (Melissa) of Dublin and Katherine Harris (Will) of Radford; and her siblings, Ruby Awbrey (John) of Portland, Barbara Isaacs (Mark) of Rutledge, Terry Allen (Sherry) of Taylorsville, Rich Allen (Cindy) of Louisville and Joe Allen, Jr. (Cheryl) of Louisville, Kentucky.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
