She is survived by: her husband John Douglas Akers; her son Dirk Akers (Sabrina Farmer); her grandson Camden Tyler Akers (Ashlan); and her great grandchildren, Madison Rose Akers, Cameron Scott Akers, Camden Bea Akers and Blake Emeryson Akers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the Daily Bread in Pulaski.
