He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Marion Alley, Sr. and Bessie Funk Alley; and his sister Linda Archer. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Alley; his grandchildren, Britt Shumate, Kristin, Jason Clark and Lauren Shumate; his great grandchildren, Ethan Clark, Charlee Shumate and Piper Shumate; and his siblings, Donna Mabry (Randy Turner) of Pulaski and Olen Alley of Austinville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
