He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burnette Nester; his children, Steven Nester (Laura), Jackie Nester, Pulaski Jimmy Nester (Christy), Barren Springs Jason Nester, Pulaski Jerry Nester, Pulaski Denise Nester and Galax; his stepson Roger Burnette (Donna); and his siblings, Marvin Nester (Frances), Linda Crawford, Wytheville Bonnie Richardson, Connie, J. C. Horton and Sylvatus. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren 4 Step Grandchildren.
