He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivia Elswick Kidd and Harold Everett Kidd; and his stepdaughters, Mary Draper and Debbie Donez. He is survived by: his son H. M.; his wife Frances Ellen Rogers Kidd of Pulaski; his daughter-in-law Tammy Kidd of Pulaski; his stepchildren, James Malone of WVa, Michael Malone (Karen) of Pulaski, Jerry Mullins of Draper and Brenda Gray (Kelby) of Pulaski; and his siblings, James Kidd (Marta), Ann Simpson (Skip) and Kitty Talbert. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many life-long friends.

Due to current restrictions, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held later at an announced date and time.
