She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Edward Mitchell; and her brother-in-law Gary Akers. She is survived by: her mother Beatrice Mitchell; her siblings, Jo Ann Akers and Terry Mitchell (Terri); her nieces and nephews, Stephen Akers, Matt Akers, Gary Lee Akers, Kellen Mitchell and Darby Mitchell; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah Akers, Teagan Akers, Ayanna Akers and Matthew Akers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hope Church.
