He is survived by: his son Lassie Wiladean Lindsey of Newbern; his brother Dennis Roop (Shellie) of Christiansburg; his grandchildren, Joshua M. Roop (Maegan) of Pulaski and Jacey Roop of Pulaski; his great grandchildren, Keira Roop, Naomi Roop, Kayson Wojcik and Ryan Roop; and his pet Jasper.
