It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lee Taylor of Pulaski, Virginia, born in Montcalm, West Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loessie Hill Taylor and Cletus Taylor; his wife Carolyn B. Taylor; and his sisters, Myrtle Bradbury and Barbara Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Cooley Minor (Edward) of Gray, TN, Linda Cooper (Shannon) of Greenville, TN and Steven A. Taylor of Montcalm, WV; his stepdaughter Lisa Smith of Roanoke; his siblings, Donald Taylor (Betty) of Montcalm, WV and Irene Westmoreland of Salem; his grandchildren, Justus Cooley (Lori) of Blountville, TN, Angela Presley (Brandon) of Abingdon, Kristen Smith of Roanoke, Katie Smith House (Alvin) of Norfolk, Ethan Cooper and Sara Cooper of Greenville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Bennett Presley, Ryan Presley and Jaxon Cooley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ernest's name at Memorial Baptist Church.
