He is survived by: his wife Carol Surratt; his children, Tim Surratt of Lynchburg, Paul Surratt, Rebecca Surratt and Patrick Surratt; and his siblings, Jerry Surratt, Norman Surratt, Rick Surratt and Linda Newman. He is also survived by several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild and several step-great-grandchildren.
