He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Lee Thompson and Lula May Guynn Thompson; and his siblings, Alberta Thompson Bower and Sherman Lee "Boone" Thompson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Gallimore Thompson of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Alex Douthat, Jessie Reece, Turner Simpson, Anna Catherine Simpson, Chelsea Wilson, Seth Wilson, Matthew Bond, Joshua Bond and Claire Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Reece, Liam Wilson and Sophie Simpson. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
