He is survived by: his mother Mary Acree; his wife Rochelle Rhames; his sons, Van Jr. and Nicholas (Allison); his siblings, William Acree (Jessie), Tamara Acree, Linda Mason (Michael), Teresa Acree, Lawrence and Deneen Kelly; his grandchildren, Eden Acree, Vanessa Acree, Ezra Acree and Hosanna Acree; his great-aunt Betty Acree; his uncle Lawrence Alfred Acree (Carrie); and his aunt Alease Acree. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
