He was predeceased by: his parents, José Montez and Manuela P. Gonzalez; his grandsons, Aaron Montez and Gabe Carrillo; and his brothers, Joe, Arturo, Manuel P. Montez and Alfredo Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Kordi (Danny), Manuel (Darlene) and Loyita (Brandon); his grandchildren, Somer (Ben), Kayla, Ashton, Robert, Cruz, Jeremiah and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Grant, Daniel, Layla, Hannah, Kaitie, Heaven and Jacob; his sisters, Beatrice Almendarez, Hortencia Jones and Daisy Rocha (Benny); his sister-in-law Jovita Montez; and his close friend Ronnie Jefferson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
