She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge Adkins and Savannah Adkins; and her daughters, Lisa Nanette and Melanie Hope Bradby. She is survived by: her husband Emmitt A. Bradby "Awahnee"; her children, Marlon (Celie), Sylvia Wynn (Woody), Connie Lankford (Willie) and Sonya Stewart (Patrick); her grandchildren, Marla, Lauren, Joy, Tony (Lacey), Hilary, Kiri, Cameron and Sheldon; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Waylon; her foster daughters, Valerie Jefferson and Tonya Woodard (Kelly); her children, Jarrett (Meghan), Dakota and Hailey; her nephew Arnold Adkins; and her parents-in-law, Kathleen Canaday, Herman Bradby (Lucille), Arnette Adkins, Milford Bradby, Thelma and Paulette Bradby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including two special nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Samaria Baptist Church Building Fund or the Chickahominy Tribe.
