With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvina Ann Gooch (Providence Forge, Virginia), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on June 22, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Allred Gooch and Melvin Anthony Gooch. She is survived by: her sister Edna Elizabeth Trudeau; her children, Marianna Hicks (Charles), George Stamper, III (Rachel) and Martha Jackson (Mark); her grandchildren, Katie, Gabrielle, Reese, Sam and Quinton; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Dixie and Waylon; and also Wayne Hill.
Mellie's lifelong partner Wayne Hill, is to be especially recognized for his unending care he provided our mother and love he showed her throughout her long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
