He was predeceased by: his father Harry Leon Bowman Sr.; his parents-in-law, Roosevelt Jr. and Alice Brown; and his brother-in-law Kevin A. Braxton. He is survived by: his mother Dora Rebecca Bowman; his wife Joanne D. Bowman; his daughter La'Shay B. Barnes (Damian M. Barnes Sr.); his grandson Damian M. Barnes Jr.; his daughter Mellisha S. Brown; his granddaughter MaKaelyn L. Jones; his siblings, Darlene Bowman (Jerome), Anna Bradby (Robert), Rachel Bowman (Ron) and Harry Bowman Jr. (Shenette); and his sister-in-law June Braxton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
