He was predeceased by: his children, James Lee Bennett Jr., Ann Lee Bennett and Melissa Jean Bennett; and his sister Alice Marie Long. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Bennett; his son Brian Keith Bennett; his grandchildren, Jason Lee Bennett and Cadee Brianne Bennett; and his siblings, Earl Bennett, Robert Bennett, Tommy Bennett and Thelma Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
