It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Wilkerson of Providence Forge, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Elizabeth and Brooke; his grandchildren, Charlie, Lily, Cyrus and William; his siblings, Bobby, Janet and Rachel; and his parents, William Wilkerson and Helen Wilkerson. He was also cherished by family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tabernacle Christian Community Church (20051 Tabernacle Rd, Barhamsville, VA 23011).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Proclaiming Grace Outreach, a local nonprofit that provides a food pantry and other services to those in need within the community.
