She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jones and Mary Jones; her husband Junius A. Morris; her children, Wilnette Gresham and James A. Morris; and her granddaughter Zabrina Gresham.
She is survived by: her children, Pernell Morris, Sr. (Lynette) and Teresa Lemons (Charles); her grandchildren, Gregory Gresham (Jennifer), Theopolis Gresham (Gerri), Lisa Gresham, Carla Lemons, Shawn Morris (Nujulia), Charles Lemons, Jr. (Mandi), Pernell Morris, Jr. (Sandra), Shavon Parker and Janiqua Morris; and her siblings-in-law, Robert L. Morris (Jessi), Alvester Morris (Deloris), Queen Sutherlin (Warren), Mable Brown, Ruby Jones, Mary Inez Jones and Mildred Morris. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren.
