He is survived by: his mother Levera Garner of West Point, VA; his children, LaTifah Smith of Newport News, VA and DeAnda Smith of Gloucester, VA; his granddaughter Taylor Lanae Jones; his aunts, Sandra Jefferson of New Kent, VA, Barbara Kelly (Queen) of King and Doris Bailey of Plum Point, VA.; and his close friends, Lena Freeman and Kennedy Wise. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
