He is survived by: his mother Retta Jean Burton; his children, Ginny (James), Nicole (Bryan), Garland (Tabitha) and Maggie (Kevin); his grandchildren, Christopher (Hope), Katie (Steven), Casey (Chris), Austin, Nathan, Noah, Andre, Caroline, Rylee, Cheyenne, Laymon, Parker, Harrison, Ashlynn, Autumn, Tyler and Annistyn; his great grandchildren, Faith, Kaylynn, Winter, Atlas, Credence, Jace, Mason and Emma; and his siblings, Garla, Gary (Joyce) and Melanie.
GC was an electrician at William & Mary and would donate his skills and time to help those in need through organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Yugo Ministries.
