It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fonney Juanita Broughman of Providence Forge, Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Vicars and Flossy Vicars; her siblings, Cletta, Mattie, Ruth, Claude, Billy Joe and Fred; her husband Robert Broughman; her son Samuel Broughman; her grandson Samuel Broughman, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Lola Broughman.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Broughman, Yvonne Mansini (John) and David Broughman (Angie); her siblings, Calvin Vicars and Gladys Boyer; and her grandchildren, Steven Broughman (Esther), Carlos Espinosa (Jeri), Danielle Ransom (Calvin), Vangy Lawson (Todd), David Broughman, Jr. (Leslie) and Krystal Drake (Jarrett). She is also survived by two step-grandchildren, a host of great grand-children, and great-great-grandchildren.
