She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Ostrom and Rhea Ostrom; her husband Max "Papoo" Crandall; and her brother Robert Ostrom. She is survived by: her children, Carole Hughes (Jim), Michael (Pam), Jill McDaniel and Patrick (Donna); and her sister Phyllis Chucta. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
