With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Scott Fleischman of Providence Forge, Virginia, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 46. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George, Dorothy Brinson of Thomasville, NC, Betty Lou Parise of Altamonte Springs, FL and Frank Fleischman Sr. of Beaver, PA; and his uncle Gene Brinson of Wilson, NC..
He is survived by: his wife Kristi Fleischman; his children, Brooklyn Mary and Grady James; his sister Kimberly Nofi (Alex) of Canton, GA; his parents-in-law, Dick and Becky Martin of Wake Forest, NC; his brothers-in-law, Luke Martin (Jessica) of Clinton, NC and Tim Martin (Emily) of Raleigh, NC; his parents, Frank Robert Fleischman, Jr. and Georgiana Brinson Fleischman of Woodstock, GA; and his close friend Donald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the dad who encouraged the family to go to Montana at the beginning of the pandemic and built a life-size igloo, complete with a luge slide for the kids to ride.
In lieu of flowers, Donald requested donations be made to the Building Fund at King of Glory New Kent (4800 North Courthouse Road, Providence Forge, VA 23140, or http://www.kognk.org). A memorial fund for the Estate of Donald Fleischman is also being established for Brooklyn and Grady's education at Wells Fargo Bank.
